When schools close due to weather or other emergency situations, all evening practices for that day are canceled.

All Recreational Evaluations will be held at Claggett Creek Middle School

To speed up the check-in process, please have some kind of jersey with a number on it and feel free to bring your own basketball. We do have a few jerseys and basketballs for evaluations.

1st and 2nd graders do not get evaluated and we try to place kids from the same school on the same teams.

This year we do not have enough girls for a 7th/8th grade recreational team, so we will not be able to have a league for them this year. The Boys & Girls Club may have teams for this level or starting in late February the middle schools will have a basketball program.

We want to have as many players as possible at an evaluation to help us create balanced teams. We try to honor player and coach requests, but those requests are not guaranteed and to be considered the players must make it to one of our evaluations.

Online Basketball registration opened September 1st for Tournament 4th-8th grades and our Recreational basketball league, grades 1st-8th.

Welcome to Keizer Youth Basketball Association (KYBA).  We offer a competitive tournament basketball program called Future Celts and a recreational basketball program for 1st-8th grade Keizer youth.

Our Recreational season runs from November until March .
- Recreational Evaluations are the beginning of November.
- Practices start the week after Thanksgiving. (One or Two nights of 60 minute practices depending on grade level.)
- Games start the first Saturday in January.
- Season ends either the last Saturday of February or the first Saturday of March. (8 weeks of games)
