2025/2026 Season Registration opens September 1st 

Welcome to Keizer Youth Basketball Association (KYBA).  We offer a competitive tournament basketball program called Future Celts and a recreational basketball program for 1st-8th grade Keizer youth.

Our Recreational season runs from November until March .
- Recreational Evaluations are the beginning of November.
- Practices start the week after Thanksgiving. (One or Two nights of 60 minute practices depending on grade level.)
- Games start the first Saturday in January.
- Season ends either the last Saturday of February or the first Saturday of March. (8 weeks of games)

Registration OPENS SEPTEMBER 1ST

Online Basketball registration will open on September 1st for our Recreational basketball league, grades 1st-8th.   And our Future Celts tournament program, grades 4th-8th for boys and girls.

WE WILL NEED COACHES PLEASE CONSIDER TO COACH .

Teams have been made, and coaches have contacted all players on their roster.  For players who did not make a tournament team, a email went out letting families know and asking if they would like to play in our rec league.

Future Celts Night will be held on October 28th @ McNary High school 6:30pm-7:45pm * Location inside McNary  upper Gym

As we prepare for the upcoming season, we want to inform you that player evaluations for the recreational divisions will not be held this year. This decision was made after careful consideration of the financial and time constraints currently facing the organization.

While evaluations have traditionally helped in team balancing, the logistics and costs involved in running them this year are unfortunately beyond our current capacity. We appreciate your understanding as we work to allocate resources in a way that best supports all aspects of the program.

That said, we remain committed to placing players in an environment where they can learn and enjoy the game. Coaches and parents are encouraged to share any specific player or team placement requests, and we will do our best to accommodate them wherever possible.

When schools close due to weather or other emergency situations, all evening practices for that day are canceled.
