Their stand will open this Friday, November 27th, and will remain open through December 21st.

We thank the Ostrom family for supporting KYBA and hope you all can get down there and find that perfect tree for your family.
Everyone, please stay safe over the Holidays.
Keizer Basketball Families,
As most of you know, 2020 is a different experience we are all trying to navigate. Concerning our Keizer basketball programs, we will not have the means necessary to run our program with skill development/athleticism training, or teams practicing. There will be no teams playing tournaments in the state of Oregon due to the restrictions that have been placed on youth basketball from the Salem-Keizer School District and from COVID restrictions around the state. As far as we have been informed the Salem-Keizer School District will not be allowing youth basketball programs to use their facilities for the near future (and it is not looking good for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year). Due to this lack of facilities it would be impossible for us to run our Keizer Youth Basketball programs, at a reasonable cost to our families, in the typical manner that we do during the winter season.
Having said that, we are still looking into options for our student-athletes to get some basketball in during the winter. Our current skills training program falls within the guidelines and will move forward at this time. It is possible we could be running some sort of clinic in January/February if we are able to get access to gym space. We will send more information out as it becomes available.
We understand how important it is for our youth players at every level to continue their skills training. KYBA supports our youth in furthering their basketball knowledge during these uncertain times.
Here are a couple options un-associated with KYBA, that have gym space and may have available spots for players to learn and hone their basketball skills. Space may be limited by COVID-19 because these programs are open to the entire Salem/Keizer community and will have players from the surrounding area filling spots.
There is a brand new, state of the art basketball facility that is being constructed in the Salem community, called "The PAC". For the time being they will be focused on individual and small group skill development and athleticism trainings for players currently in 3rd grade or higher.

There is the Run & Shoot program, currently working out of the KROC Center, for players that are currently in Kindergarten through High School.

We are hoping that more details will come soon for Keizer Youth Basketball and are hoping that we can all get back in the gym together, safely, at some point. As we find out more information, we will update here on our website.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please advise your children that even if there is not official basketball teams this year they can still improve their skills from home.
We hope everyone stays safe and healthy over the holidays.
