Online Basketball registration opens on September 1st for Tournament 4th-8th grades and our Recreational basketball league, grades 1st-8th.

All Recreational Evaluations will be held at Claggett Creek Middle School

To speed up the check-in process, please have your child registered and bring some kind of jersey with a number on it. Also feel free to bring your own basketball. We do have a few jerseys and basketballs for evaluations, but are limited.

1st and 2nd graders do not get evaluated and we try to place kids from the same school on the same teams.

We will see if we have enough girls for 7th/8th grade recreational teams and plan accordingly. If we are unable to field teams, the Boys & Girls Club may have teams for this level. Starting in late February the middle schools will have a basketball program.

We want to have as many players as possible at an evaluation to help us create balanced teams. We try to honor player and coach requests, but those requests are not guaranteed. To even be considered for a request the players must make it to one of our evaluations.

Welcome to Keizer Youth Basketball Association (KYBA).  We offer a competitive tournament basketball program called Future Celts and a recreational basketball program for 1st-8th grade Keizer youth.

Our Recreational season runs from November until March .
- Recreational Evaluations are the beginning of November.
- Practices start the week after Thanksgiving. (One or Two nights of 60 minute practices depending on grade level.)
- Games start the first Saturday in January.
- Season ends either the last Saturday of February or the first Saturday of March. (8 weeks of games)

When schools close due to weather or other emergency situations, all evening practices for that day are canceled.
